Each pledge gets special attention from her big sister in the sorority. Little sisters get flowers, presents, and silly things to wear. The big sister/little sister bond is one of the most important in the sorority. The friendship culminates during the Big Sister Hunt, in which pledges find clues around campus to "hunt" for their big sister.

Activation is the most important ceremony that occurs in ADT. To discuss it would violate the tradition that has been passed down from sister to sister - so of course, we don't have any pictures either! The ceremony is emotional and a bonfire usually follows. Once the pledges go through activation, they are full members of Alpha Delta Theta. This year the Activation Ceremony was held on March 31st.
